    Soludo’s critics short-sighted – Commissioner

    Published on

Anambra State Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Barr Anthony Ifeanya, has described the critics of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration as short-sighted.

Speaking to newsmen at the official opening of Solution Fun City by Soludo, Ifeanya noted that the critics were myopic and lacked the capacity to look ahead.

He charged such individuals who have not seen anything good in Soludo’s administration to come and join the winning team in the state.

“It has been observed that the critics of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s administration cannot see far as they are not visionary. I was very happy and delighted to have witnessed the event. Solution Fun City is one of the signature projects of the Governor’s leadership,” he said.

Describing to Soludo as Oluatuegwu Anambra, the Commissioner also identified the new government house and lodge, Ekwulobia fly-over and the Nnewi-road-dual- carriage way, among others, as some of the outstanding signature projects of Soludo’s administration.

He added that he was happy that he was at the event and debunked the rumour making the rounds in the state that the Solution Fun City is a waste of money because it will not generate money for the state, describing such heinous rumour as false.

Ifeanya described what he saw at the Solution Fun City as wonderful, adding that what he saw at the children’s section of the Solution Fun City is enough to generate the entire money committed in building the project.

The Commissioner stated that he knew how he managed his children to stay back because of the thick crowd that graced the occasion and expressed optimism that every child in the state would like to visit the Solution Fun City to have fun.

According to him, Soludo had appointed an Egyptian as the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of the Solution Fun City, stressing the city is purely for business ventures, which he said will pay for itself.

“Solution Fun City houses country clubs and places for the aged, middle-aged men, the young and the small ones for their enjoyment and relaxation. The Fun City is made to provide relaxation and entertainment for Ndi-Anambra after their daily hustling activities as one of effective means of checking stress.

“The project is enough to earn the Governor the people’s mandate for his second term bid as it is one of serious and strong projects only Soludo can do as ‘Oluatuegwu’ Anambra,” Ifeanya stated.
