    Nigerians felicitate with Akintola William’s as he clocks 103 years

    Nigerians of all walks of life on Tuesday congratulated Chief Akintola Williams , the doyen of the Accounting Profession in Nigeria on his 103 years birthday .

    He’s the first African to qualify as a professional accountant and first President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN

    He was born on August 9,1919

    Speaking to Daily newscraft, senator Victor Ndoma Egba, former senate leader said : just like what Dr Sam Epelle did to Public Relations Practice in Nigeria, Chief Akintola Williams gave shape and rhythm to the accountancy profession in Nigeria.

    ” It is worthy of commendation and celebration that he is still alive to witness the profession grow in leaps and bounds” he said .
