Dangote Refinery Declares Additional Petrol Price Reduction

    Published on

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has again reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
The new price is set at ₦835 per litre, down from ₦865 per litre, marking a 3.5 per cent decrease.

The recent drop in global crude oil prices, which have fallen to $64 per barrel from over $70 per barrel in recent weeks, is the reason for this price change.
This important change comes after the price of oil was previously lowered from ₦880 to ₦865 per litre, but the savings were not passed on to customers by oil marketers.

With a daily capacity of 650,000 barrels, the Dangote Refinery is an important part of Nigeria’s energy system.
