Interviews in Natasha’s case against Akpabio, others are prohibited by court

The Federal High Court in Abuja’s Justice Binta Fatima Nyako has prohibited parties to the lawsuit brought by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and three other individuals from speaking to the media about case-related topics.

Following the lawyer’s allegation to Akpabio, Kehinde Ogunwumiju (SAN), that the plaintiff was relocating from television house to television house while providing press interviews on matters pertaining to her case, which is still pending in court, the judge issued the order on Friday.

In a succinct decision, Justice Nyako stated that none of the parties or their attorneys would be allowed to speak to the media about the case’s topic.

Additionally, Justice Nyako prohibited parties and their attorneys from using social media to broadcast the case’s proceedings.
