Napoli working to avoid late Osimhen transfer

    Published on

According to Giovanni Manna, director of Napoli, the team is trying to stop Victor Osimhen from joining another team late in the summer.

At the end of the current season, Osimhen’s season-long loan from Napoli will come to an end at Galatasaray.

Following the breakdown of a proposed transfer to Premier League team Chelsea last summer, the Nigerian international signed a last-minute contract with Galatasaray.

Regarding Osimhen’s future, Manna said Napoli is trying to find a quick fix to prevent another late transfer scandal.

Victor Osimhen’s contract does, in fact, have a release clause. To prevent a late transfer like the one that occurred last summer, we’re trying to find a solution as soon as possible,” Manna said.

When Osimhen’s loan at Galatasaray expires in the summer, he is anticipated to sign a contract with a new team.

He was barred from Napoli boss Antonio Conte’s team prior to his departure. Romelu Lukaku has recently joined Napoli to take his spot.
