Cameroonian defender Flavien Enzo Boyomo is rooting for Ademola Lookman to win the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.

Five sportsmen, including Lookman, made the final shortlist for the award.

The other four players are Simon Adingra, Ronwen Williams, and Serhou Guirassy Achraf Hakimi.

Boyomo, who plays for the Spanish team Osasuna, believes the winger has a higher chance than the other competitors of winning the award.

“I think Lookman will win the African Ballon d’Or,” Boyomo said, according to Actu Cameroon.

“He has the best chance of taking home the trophy this year because he won the Europa League.”
