Transfer reporter Steve Kay suggests that Arsenal’s interest in signing Joshua Zirkzee is more likely to materialize than their pursuit of other strikers like Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney. While Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta aims to strengthen the attacking lineup, Zirkzee’s name has gained prominence among potential targets.

Despite Arsenal’s focus on winning the Premier League, negotiations with any target player, including Zirkzee, are yet to advance significantly. However, Zirkzee’s potential transfer has drawn attention, especially with clubs like AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Juventus also expressing interest in the 22-year-old forward.

Speaking on KS1TV via tbrfootball, Kay acknowledges Arsenal’s interest in Zirkzee but clarifies that there are no concrete talks at the moment. He suggests that Arsenal might have a better chance of signing Zirkzee compared to other mentioned targets.

Regarding Ivan Toney, Kay believes the opportunity to sign him has passed, and he dismisses the idea of Victor Osimhen being a suitable fit for Arsenal. Osimhen’s reported release clause of close to €130 million presents a significant financial hurdle, raising doubts about Arsenal’s willingness to meet such a high valuation for the player.

Ultimately, while Zirkzee’s potential transfer to Arsenal seems more feasible, negotiations are still in the early stages, and the final decision rests on various factors, including the club’s evaluation of the player’s suitability and the financial aspects involved.
