Actress Omotunde Adebowale, famously known as Adaku, has spoken out against the family of the late Aderounmu Adejumoke, criticizing them for their alleged negligence towards her and expressing support for Funke Akindele in a recent interview.

Adaku began by revealing that Adejumoke had stayed at her house for five days after a movie premiere, hinting at some troubling experiences during that time that she couldn’t openly discuss. She suggested that if Adejumoke had received the love and support from her family that they claimed, certain unfortunate events might have been prevented.

Recalling a conversation from last year, Adaku mentioned Adejumoke’s apparent distress and claims of neglect from her fellow actors. Adaku sensed this was a cry for help, highlighting the importance of paying attention to such signals.

In a bold statement, Adaku questioned why Adejumoke’s family criticized Funke Akindele for not assisting her when they themselves should have taken responsibility. Drawing from her own experience, she illustrated the significance of familial support during difficult times.

Adaku emphasized that Funke Akindele wasn’t obligated to help Adejumoke and suggested that the family’s focus should have been on fulfilling their duty of care. She referenced the backlash against Funke Akindele initiated by Adejumoke’s brother, who accused her of insincere mourning on social media, leading to widespread criticism from online users.
