    Moon Sighted, Monday Is First Day of Ramadan – Saudi

    Taraweeh Prayers will begin in the Two Holy Mosques after Isha Prayers

    The Crescent of Ramadan has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom has declared Monday, March 11, the first day of Ramadan.

    The moonlighting authority in Saudi announced this through the official page of the two holy Mosques, Haramain Sharifain, on Sunday.

    The statement on the page reads; “The Crescent of Ramadan 1445/2024 has been sighted in Saudi Arabia!

    “Subsequently, Ramadan 1445/2024 begins tomorrow, 11 March 2024

    “Taraweeh Prayers will begin in the Two Holy Mosques after Isha Prayers.”
