    Kogi poll: Dino vows to end percentage salary payments,Boost IGR

    The governership candidate of the People’s Democratic party, PDP in the November 11 Election, Senator Dino Melaye has vowed to put an end to percentage salary payments in the state if elected.

    Melaye made the vow on Thursday at the Grand finale of the party held at the state Secretariat ,Lokoja

    He also promised to improve the internally generated revenue through tourism which will also attract investors all in a bid to pay for the expansion to be achieved through industrialization and exploration of the vast mineral resources available in the state.

    He said told party faithfuls and supporters that out if the 18 contestants jostling to be the governor,he is the most qualified ,mist experienced, most educated and most exposed fit for the job.

    “I will not be a Muslim governor I will not be a Christian governor,I will not be an Egbira governor, I will not be an Okun governor, but I will govern with the fear of God” he said.

    According to him,”when I say corruption
    You say ooze meaning enough in Egbira language, percentage salary,, ooze! adding that those sacked during the last screening exercise would be recalled within six months and their arrears Paige in full”.

    “Don’t vote for the small parties that has no keyholders, without anything to offer ,this is your opportunity to free yourselves from the grip of tyranny” Dino added

    Also speaking at the rally, former vice president Atiku Abubarkar urged kogi voters to turnout enmass to vote for PDP and it’s Governoship candidate,Dino Melaye.

    “I am appealing to you for the sake of Kogi state,come out enmass and vote PDP on Saturday,I assure you of your safety,this your opportunity to free yourselves,I hope you will not disappoint me”,Atiku said.
