The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, especially in light of the current economic challenges facing the nation.

Oba Ogunwusi made this plea during a visit to his family compound as part of the Olojo Annual Festival’s grand finale celebrations in the Oketase area of Ile-Ife on Monday.

Acknowledging that Nigeria is currently facing a period of trials with numerous challenges in various aspects of life, the monarch expressed empathy for the difficulties that people are going through.

He stated, “I know that people are passing through difficult periods in which they are not finding life easy, and truly this is a challenging period. But I know that after this festival, normalcy will return to the country, as the problems we’re facing will soon come to an end.”

The royal leader encouraged everyone to endure and continue to support their leaders, emphasizing that their collective efforts would lead to significant achievements. Oba Ogunwusi highlighted the importance of cooperation between the government and the masses, emphasizing that no nation can reach its promised land without the contribution of its people.

In conclusion, he urged all citizens to join hands in the nation-building process, emphasizing that unity and collaboration are essential for progress.
