Ibom Air, a Nigerian airline, has been honored with two significant awards: “Best On-Time Performance Airline in Nigeria” and “Best Airline in Nigeria for 2022.” These accolades were presented at the annual Travelers Award hosted by the African Travel Quarterly Magazine.

For the third consecutive time, Ibom Air has received the “Best Airline in Nigeria” award from the organizers. The recognition was presented during the CHINET Aviation and Cargo conference held in Lagos over the weekend.

In response to these awards, Mr. George Uriesi, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Ibom Air, attributed the achievements to the dedication of the airline’s employees, stakeholders, and customers who have consistently supported the brand since its inception.

Uriesi expressed, “These awards validate our relentless efforts at providing top-notch services and maintaining a high level of performance in the Nigerian airline industry. The management and staff of Ibom Air are greatly encouraged by this consistent recognition.”

The airline’s remarkable track record of on-time performance and its commitment to delivering excellence in a challenging business environment have earned it these honors. The recognitions serve as a testament to Ibom Air’s dedication to providing quality services and maintaining a strong performance in the Nigerian aviation sector.
