Some politicians and military officials have been charged by Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum for serving as accomplices and informants for Boko Haram militants.

Zulum promised to act brutally with anybody who thwart his administration’s attempts to combat insurgency in the state.

In order to defeat terrorists and their saboteurs, Governor Aldo said that his administration will bolster its intelligence network.

The governor stated: “We have informants and collaborators within the Nigerian Armed Forces, within the politicians, and within the communities,” during an interview on News Central’s Breakfast Central.

“We’re going to bolster our intelligence and take a brutal approach to them.
