Zelenskyy to speak with Trump after US president’s talks with Putin

In order to learn more about his call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he intends to meet with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday.

Zelenskyy and Finnish President Alexander Stubb made this claim during a press conference in Helsinki.

“I will speak with President Trump today,” Zelenskyy declared.

“We will talk to him about the specifics of the next steps.”

After a slew of drone strikes across Ukraine, Zelenskyy added that Putin’s pledge to cease attacking energy infrastructure was “very much at odds with reality.”

He added that the subject of territorial concessions will be among the most challenging topics in upcoming talks.

The red line, in our opinion, symbolizes the acknowledgement of the temporarily occupied Ukrainian lands as Russian.

“We won’t pursue it,” he continued.
