Mary Obeten Peter, a woman from Cross River State, Nigeria, finds herself devastated after discovering that her husband, Peter Obeten, has married her younger sister, Hannah.

Mary and Peter had a wedding in 2021 and share a child together. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when Hannah, Mary’s younger sister, arrived in Lagos to assist with household chores after Mary gave birth. Tragically, an affair developed between Hannah and Peter, who works as a plumber, ultimately culminating in their wedding ceremony on October 11.

Expressing her pain and sorrow on Facebook, Mary wrote, “My kid sister has finally succeeded in taking my husband as her husband. May God judge you, amen.” She also confirmed that her sister and her husband are now living together.

In a previous birthday message to Hannah in 2022, Mary had affectionately referred to her as “my favorite sister.” However, Peter, in stark contrast, displayed no remorse for his actions. He posted on Facebook, “I’m so happy that I finally succeeded in taking my wife’s kid sister as my new wife.”

This situation has undoubtedly created a significant rift in the family, leaving Mary heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with her husband’s choice to marry her sister.
