    Unknown Assailants Strangle Businesswoman to Death in Eket

    In a tragic incident, unidentified assailants have reportedly strangled a businesswoman, Madam Juliana Dimaka, to death within her residence in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom. According to a source who disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Eket, the murder took place on October 17, following multiple previous unsuccessful attempts on the victim’s life.

    The source, who wished to remain anonymous, described the chilling details of the murder, which occurred at Madam Dimaka’s home on Etebom Avenue in Eket. The perpetrators gained entry into her residence and carried out the heinous act, ultimately ending her life. The incident transpired at approximately 8:00 pm on that fateful day, leading to the subsequent closure of her shopping plaza located on Grace Bill Road in Eket.

    A credible source within the Eket Divisional Police headquarters, speaking on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to speak to the media, confirmed the incident. However, the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP MacDon Odiko, stated that he had not yet received official information regarding the case and needed to verify the facts before making any statements.
