    University of Education And Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa Acknowledges ₦1.02 Million NELFUND Loan Disbursement

    The University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa, Cross River State, has formally acknowledged the receipt of a ₦1,025,200 student loan disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

    In an official letter dated January 30, 2026, and signed by the institution’s Bursar, Dr. Eyo Bassey Ekpe, the university confirmed that the payment represents the third batch of loan disbursement for eight students of the institution.

    According to the statement, the funds were received on January 20, 2026, and have been duly noted and appreciated by the university management. The institution commended NELFUND for its continued support in easing financial barriers for students pursuing higher education.

    The university also conveyed the Vice Chancellor’s regards and appreciation, emphasizing the importance of such interventions in promoting access to quality education.

    NELFUND’s student loan initiative continues to play a vital role in supporting Nigerian students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder academic aspirations.
