‎Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has revealed that she forgets the lyrics to her own songs while performing on stage sometimes.

‎

‎According to her, whenever she forgets a line during her performance, she does not panic or allow the moment to spoil the show. Instead, she simply hands the microphone over to the crowd, and asks the fans to sing along.

‎

‎“When I forget my lyrics while performing on stage, I just give the microphone to the crowd, and tell them, ‘let me hear you sing,’” Tiwa Savage said via MTV.

‎

‎The fans will then continue singing the song, while Tiwa uses the moment to remember the lyrics, and get herself back on track.

‎

‎What makes it even more interesting is that the whole thing can look like part of the performance, especially when the crowd already knows the song word for word.

‎

‎It also gives her fans the opportunity to sing directly with their favourite artiste, and feel more connected to the performance.

‎

‎Tiwa Savage knows how to turn even a small mistake on stage into a memorable moment.
