The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu has promised to make Kogi the solid mineral hub if the country if elected president at the 25th February general election.

Tinubu who was speaking on Wednesday in Lokoja at the state campaign rally held at the confluence stadium said that Kogi is solid mineral capital of the country and would be explored adequately to cater for the economic needs of the people.

“Your hope is here, Ajaokuta will be revived,,the solid mineral will be developed for your benefits”

The APC standard flagbearer bearer said that he represents renewed hope that would bring out the potentials in the people.

According to him,”you have surprised us with your large turn out to receive us in spite of the difficulties of the moment. I want to assure you that you sacrifice will not be in vain,I will only advice you to troop out using all available means if transportation, whether Keke Napep, motorcycles,or tracking,come out in your numbers and vote APC from top to bottom and be rewarded adequately”.

“You efforts will not go unnoticed,you will be rewarded,your suffering has ended,I know how to do it,I have done it before, I am ready to do it again.
I am out to lay the lies of sixteen years to rest,just play you part by voting APC and watch us perform wonders”. He said

Earlier,the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello had blamed the current fuel and currency scarcity on the door step of saboteurs who are bent on scuttling the Electoral process.

He however hailed the supreme court judgement stopping the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN from enforcing the February 10th deadline for the old notes to seize to be legal tender.

Bello described the judgment as a welcome development that would alleviate the suffering which the decision had inflicted on the people due to no fault of theirs.
