General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff, conducted a meeting between President Bola Tinubu and the military chiefs on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

It is unclear why the discussion was held in the president’s office, but it might have something to do with the nation’s growing insecurity crisis.

Suspected herdsmen have carried out a number of lethal attacks in Benue State and other regions of the nation.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Department of State Services, Oluwatosin Ajayi, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the National Security Advisor, Nuhu Ribadu.
