    Taekwondo athletes poised to win medals for Team Osun – Adegoke

    Osun Taekwondo Athletes are ready to make Osun state proud at the National Sports Festival in Ogun State.

    A prominent Taekwondo athlete of Osun state, Abdullahi Adegoke is confident that they would get medals for the state.

    “Taekwondo has been one of the strongholds of Osun state when it comes to winning laurels. We are used to winning medals for the state at National events and we are sure this National Sports Festival wouldn’t be an exemption.”

    “At the 21st National Sports Festival in Asaba, Delta State, only four of us participated and we won three medals for Osun state. This time, we have set our sights on winning more medals, preferably gold medals.”

    “We have been training for a very long time and this is the time for us to show the world the stuff we are made of,” Abdullahi said.

    Osun Taekwondo Athletes are eleven in number, comprising of five female athletes and six male athletes.
