    Published on

Ashleigh Plumptre has begun rehabilitation following a successful surgery on her left foot.

The defender went under the knife last weekend following the setback.

The news of the Nigeria international’s surgery was announced by her Saudi club, Al-Ittihad Ladies.

Plumptre is now expected to spend several months on the sidelines due to the injury.

It’s the second time Plumptre will be hit by a major injury since linking up with Al-Ittihad.

The 27-year-old was sidelined for around six months in 2024.
