The Super Eagles’ training camp in Marrakech, Morocco, kicked off on Tuesday with the arrival of 10 players, according to reports from Completesports.com.

Among the early arrivals are Stanley Nwabali from Chippa United, midfielder Alex Iwobi, winger Moses Simon from Nantes, and defenders Jamilu Collins and Bruno Onyemaechi.

Joining them are Cyriel Dessers, Nathan Tella, Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.

Additional players who have been invited are expected to join the camp later today.

Scheduled for later today at 4:30 pm local time, the Super Eagles’ first training session will mark the beginning of their preparations.

Former winger Finidi George is currently leading the team on an interim basis until a permanent head coach is appointed.

The Super Eagles will take on their longtime rivals, the Black Stars of Ghana, in their first friendly match at the Grand Stade de Marrakech on Friday.

Following this encounter, the former African champions will face the Eagles of Mali in another friendly next Tuesday, also at the same venue.
