…….APC will face the people’s judgment in 2027 -Ologbondiyan

    BY BEN OGBEMUDIA

The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has rejected claims that the ruling party is behind the internal turmoil currently plaguing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking on Channels Television’s Television on Monday evening, where he appeared alongside former PDP National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan, Morka challenged the notion that recent defections of opposition figures to the APC were driven by threats or political intimidation.

Morka argued it was unreasonable for the PDP to accuse the APC of causing its internal instability, especially when the party has yet to resolve its leadership issues, including the positions of national chairman and secretary.

He questioned the PDP’s capacity to govern, stating, “How can a party unable to manage its own internal leadership expect to lead the country effectively?”

Referring to Ologbondiyan’s assertions, Morka added, “I’m sure my brother doesn’t truly believe what he’s saying. There’s no justification for blaming the APC for the complete dysfunction and stagnation within the PDP’s leadership.”

In response, Ologbondiyan insisted that regardless of how many opposition leaders the APC manages to woo, the party will still face the judgment of the Nigerian people in the 2027 elections.

“No matter how many governors you gather in one boardroom to join the APC,” he said, “can you fit over 200 million Nigerians in that room? The answer is no. Ultimately, it’s the people who will decide.”
