The senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Ned Nwoko, has reaffirmed his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring that his battle to reclaim the senatorial mandate through the courts is firmly on course.
Speaking to a large crowd of supporters on arrival in Asaba at the weekend, he reiterated his commitment to providing effective representation for the people of the senatorial district.
He expressed confidence that the ongoing legal process will ultimately pave the way for his return to the National Assembly.
The lawmaker said his commitment to the people remains unwavering, pledging to continue to pursue issues affecting their welfare, development and future.
On the nation’s economy, Nwoko threw his weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s reforms.
He said the reforms are aimed at repositioning the economy and laying foundation for improved living conditions.
While admitting the hardship faced by Nigerians, he urged citizens, particularly Deltans, to be patient.
He expressed optimism that the administration’s measures would yield better results with time.
On Anioma State creation, Nwoko said the struggle is unfinished and will not be abandoned.
He described Anioma State as a major plank of his political agenda, vowing to pursue it with renewed determination if returned to the Senate, while thanking supporters for their solidarity and urging them to remain steadfast.
