Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has shared a heartfelt farewell message to teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold, following confirmation that the defender will leave the club at the end of the season to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

In an emotional Instagram post on Monday, Salah reflected on their years together, saying:
“It’s been a pleasure sharing a special friendship with you and playing alongside you. I wish you the best and I am sure we will meet again,” accompanied by several photos of the two during their time at Liverpool.

Alexander-Arnold, who joined the club at age six and has won eight major trophies, responded with “big bro” and two heart emojis, highlighting their close bond.
