In a noteworthy collaboration, Rite Foods has partnered with the acclaimed actress, Eniola Badmus, for the “Feed the Needy” initiative in Lagos. The impactful program, executed on the 1st of January, 2024, brought essential supplies and moments of joy to marginalized communities across the city, concluding with a heartwarming concert on the 2nd of January, 2024.

From comforting seniors at the Lagos State Old People’s Home to bringing cheer to families at Heritage Homes Orphanage, the initiative delivered much-needed essentials. Rite Foods’ range of beverages, including Bigi’s refreshing flavors and Fearless energy drink, provided nourishment and uplifted spirits. The initiative, worth millions of naira, ensured sustenance and a touch of sweetness for those in need.

Eniola Badmus, expressing the project’s core value, emphasized, “It’s about giving back, providing a helping hand to those who might struggle. Seeing smiles on their faces makes it all worthwhile. I am very grateful to Rite Foods Limited. It has been with me since I started, and the company has been very helpful in making the initiative a success.”

Adedotun Ajibade, Media and Insight Manager at Rite Foods, underscored the company’s commitment to social responsibility, stating, “We’re proud to stand by initiatives like ‘Feed the Needy,’ putting smiles on the faces of marginalized people who are in dire need of assistance and getting refreshed with our products.”

The initiative began at the Lagos State Old People’s Home, where residents enjoyed Badmus’ company and refreshing Bigi drinks. Bethesda Home for the Blind resonated with tales of resilience and shared laughter over Rite Foods’ delicious treats. At Heritage Homes Orphanage, children celebrated with Bigi beverages and games, filling the air with joyful shouts.

The grand finale in Shogunle was a vibrant community celebration featuring musical entertainment and stage performances by upcoming dancers. A dance competition and gaming sessions, including Bigi Ring Toss, X and O, and the Blind Taste challenge, added to the delight. The event concluded with scholarships awarded to two children, Esther Adeyinka and Segun Adeniji, covering their academic activities and feeding, fostering aspirations for a brighter future.

The “Feed the Needy” initiative, driven by the combined support of Rite Foods and Eniola Badmus, is a testament to their commitment to building hope and making a lasting impact in the lives of countless Lagosians in need.
