    PFN President Wale-Oke urges christians to leverage on knowledge of spiritual leaders

     Bishop Francis Wale-Oke, the National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has urged delegates to its 17th conference to tap the fountain knowledge of the spiritual fathers and assured them of turnaround at the end of the three days programme.

    The event with its theme “More than Conquerors” which began with arrival and registration of delegates, also had in attendance dignitaries from other walks of life from within and outside of Bayelsa and Niger Delta region.

    The 10,000 seater capacity Bayelsa Ecunimical Centre, Igbogene, was filled to the brim, as leaders of Pentecostal Churches, political class and delegates from the 36 states of the federation.

    Wale-Oke, declared that participants will receive unprecedented blessings as a result of the gatherings of the spiritual fathers, and advised participants to come with expectations that God will meet them in their point of needs

    He affirmed that the state will continue to stand out in the comity of other states particular in the Niger Delta region.

    The national President of PFN, lauded the local organising committee, the national advisory council, national executive council and other stakeholders for their painstaking efforts in making the event a success.

    Wale-Oke, who emphasised that the importance of the programme to Bayelsa people cannot be overemphasised, also appreciated Governor Douye Diri for the support and approving the Bayelsa Ecumenical Centre for the programme.

    In his remarks, South-South Vice President of PFN, Apst. David Zilly-Aggrey, described the timing of the 17th biennial conference as apt, as it will serve as a spiritual prelude to the general elections and generate the amount of spiritual energy that will culminate into the presidential election.

     Zilly-Aggrey, said he felt elated that the 17th biennial conference is being hosted in Bayelsa which has a lot of outstanding spiritual landmarks, advised Bayelsa people to key into the programme in order to experience breakthrough in their lives.

    Earlier, Governor Douye Diri, had appreciated the national leadership of PFN, for the preference of Bayelsa as the host State and expressed his administration’s continued support to the church in the state.

    Diri, who expressed the belief that the state will not remain the same after the gatherings of the spiritual fathers of faith, also called on christians involved in politics in order to change the political narrative of the country.

    Delivering the first lesson, National Secretary of PFN, Bishop Cosmas Ilechukwu, described Bayelsa as a blessed state, and called on younger ministers to take advantage of the visit of the spiritual fathers in order to enrich their spiritual well-being.

    The event also witnessed the PFN National Prayer Coordinator, Rev. Mercy Ezekiel ministered in praise, where some people received deliverance,  healing and breakthrough among other things.

    Other dignitaries at the event were, the National Deputy President of PFN, Archbishop John Praise-Daniel, PFN National Deputy Vice President, South West, Archbishop John Osa-Oni, his FCT counterpart, Rev. Victor Ogunkanmi and Bishop David Bakare.

    Others were, Wife of the Bayelsa State governor, Mrs Gloria Diri, State Deputy Governor, Mr Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo,

    State Chairman of PFN, Pst.  Dr Tam Seth Eyedoude, his Delta State counterpart, Bishop Kingsley Jonny and Pastor Femi Emmanuel among others.
