“At the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards, Nigeria once again stole the show as our own Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman won African Footballer of the Year 2024, and Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie won Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year 2024. To top it all off, the Super Falcons, the continent’s women’s national team, were named the Women’s National Team of the Year at the same ceremony.

“I want to express my deepest congratulations to our beloved athletes who have made history and elevated our country with these honors. “Thank you for your perseverance, hard work, abilities, and excellence that have gotten you this far,” Obi remarked.
