‎The Chairman of Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, Hon Ahmed Adam Rufai, will this month mark his two years in office with the delivery of over 70 projects across the area.

‎In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Salihu Yakubu Danlile, the Chairman said the milestone reflects his administration’s commitment to grassroots development and accountable leadership.

‎“In less than two years, we have successfully delivered over 70 projects, with only about five still ongoing,” the statement noted.

‎Rufai said the achievements were made possible through people-oriented policies and the support of the Kwara State Government under Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Sardauna Ngeri of Ilorin and Sadauki of the Lafiagi Emirate.

‎“We sincerely appreciate His Excellency for providing the enabling environment and necessary support for local government councils across Kwara State to deliver on their mandates,” Rufai stated.

‎As part of activities to mark the anniversary, he said the Council will host a town hall meeting to give account of stewardship, celebrate progress, and engage citizens on the journey ahead.

‎The Chairman called on traditional rulers, religious leaders, stakeholders, and residents of Patigi Local Government Area to attend the programme.

‎“Your presence will mean a lot as we celebrate the achievements of the past two years and engage our people on the journey ahead. Together, we celebrate progress. Together, we build a stronger Patigi LGA,” he said.
