In a moving act of solidarity, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Director Augustine Eguavoen has delivered a N20 million support fund to Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali to assist with the burial of his late parents.

The fund, provided by the NFF, is aimed at easing both the emotional and financial weight on Nwabali, who is mourning the loss of both mother and father. Nwabali, one of the Super Eagles’ standout performers in recent months, has earned national admiration for his composure and reliability in goal.

Eguavoen personally handed over the funds on behalf of the federation — a gesture praised across Nigeria’s sports and public spheres as a powerful show of unity and compassion.

“This is not just about football,” a fan commented online. “It’s about family. And the Super Eagles are a family.”

The souls of Mr. and Mrs. Nwabali, may they rest in peace.
