    Osimhen scores as Galatasaray beat Fenerbahçe in Turkish derby

    Victor Osimhen was on target as Galatasaray defeated Istanbul rivals, Fenerbahçe 3-0 at the RAMs Park on Sunday.

    Talisca missed the chance to give Fenerbahçe the lead in the 11th minute when he missed from the spot

    Osimhen gave Galatasaray the lead with a cool finish five minutes before the break.

    It was the Nigeria international’s 13th league goal of the season.

    The striker had a goal ruled out for offside in the 53rd minute.

    Baris Yilmaz netted Galatasaray’s second from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.

    Lucas Torreira added the third seven minutes from time.

    Okan Buruk’s side have now established a seven point lead at the top of the table following the win.
