The immediate past Chairman of Kogi All Progressive Congress,APC Abdulahi Bello has been nominated as a commissioner designate.
This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Secretary to the government of Kogi state,Dr Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade.
“This follows the resignation of Engineer Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf as Commissioner for Works” she noted.
Also in a minor cabinet reshuffle,Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo approved the redeployment of Barrister Salami Ozigi Deedat from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to Ministry of Works.
“Also, the Governor has approved the appointment of the immediate Past Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Bello popularly known as Dollar as a Commissioner-Designate.
The immediate Past APC Chairman is expected to be screened and confirmed by the State House of Assembly.
The Governor expressed gratitude to the outgone Commissioner for his meritorious service to the State and wished him well in his future endeavours.
The redeployment takes immediate effect,” the statement concluded.” She added.
