‎Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has informed prospective corps members deployed to Niger State for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Service Year that their orientation course has been postponed until a later date.

‎The Scheme said the decision has become necessary due to the ongoing renovation of the NYSC Orientation Camp in Paiko, Niger State, being undertaken by the Niger State Government following the extensive damage caused by a recent windstorm.

‎”Consequently, NYSC Management is making urgent arrangements to secure an alternative venue for the Orientation Course. A new commencement date and other relevant details will be communicated to affected Prospective Corps Members in due course.

‎”Management sincerely regrets any inconvenience this postponement may cause to the Prospective Corps Members and their families and appreciates their understanding and cooperation,” it stated.
