Nwabali not concerned over free agent status

    Published on

Stanley Nwabali has said he is unperturbed about being clubless at the moment.

Nwabali is available as a free agent after leaving South African club, Chippa United.

The goalkeeper has been linked with top South African club, Kaizer Chiefs.

The 29-year-old is also thought to have attracted interest from some Libyan clubs.

Nwabali’s lack of activity could cost him a place in the Super Eagles.

The former Enyimba shot stopper is not expected to be included in Super Eagles’ squad for the upcoming friendlies against Iran and Jordan.

Nwabali however reiterated that he would soon be back on the pitch, allaying fears that he may face a long spell on the sidelines.

“I’m not worried, yeah. I’m not worried… So, I don’t really have, like, you know, a particular place or a particular country I want to play in, you see? So, anywhere that welcomes me well, I can play. So, that’s it,” he told Soccerladuma.
