The Federal Government on Monday night hosted a grand Presidential dinner at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja to honour the Super Falcons for their historic 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) triumph.

The dinner featured performances by Nigerian music stars Flavour, Teni, Timi Dakolo, and Fido, who entertained the nation’s football heroines.

Earlier in the day, the Super Falcons were received at the Presidential Banquet Hall by President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, in recognition of their remarkable achievement.

At the event, the president conferred the Super Falcons with National Honours and awarded $100,000 each to players. He also rewarded the squad with three-bedroom apartments at the Renewed Hope Estate and $50K each to all members of the technical team.

The team secured their 10th continental title with a 3–2 comeback win against the host nation, Morocco, in the final held at the Stade Olympique in Rabat on Saturday, July 26.
