Nollywood actor, Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, is facing eviction from his house after receiving a notice from his landlady. The eviction notice comes as a repercussion for the actor’s controversial comments and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the election, particularly trolling Eastern Nigerians.
In an Instagram post, Lege Miami expressed shock over the eviction notice and questioned where he would go. He revealed that he was given a 7-day ultimatum to vacate the house.
Adding to his troubles, the actor had previously faced legal issues after being sued for 50 million naira over defamatory comments made on social media. In the lawsuit, Lege Miami accused Mr. Macaroni of making defamatory and derogatory statements, but later attempted to cover his fears by claiming they were friends and that Mr. Macaroni did not intend his statements.
Lege Miami had also called out Mr. Macaroni for his message to Nigerian youths, disagreeing with the skit maker’s advice for young Nigerians not to engage in tribal wars and to avoid being used by politicians for destruction. The actor questioned why Mr. Macaroni involved himself in youth matters and attempted to criticize President-Elect Tinubu’s government, citing the support from the Eastern and Northern states for Tinubu.
With these controversies and legal issues piling up, Lege Miami now faces uncertainty regarding his living situation and future career prospects.
