Nigerian Air Force men attack employees over disconnection, block Ikeja Electric office

    Published on

Ikeja Electric’s office has been besieged by Nigerian Air Force (NAF) personnel due to an electrical outage.

The military men were accused of assaulting the company’s employees.

The Nigerian Air Force van was spotted at the main entrance of the electrical distribution firm in Lagos on Thursday, according to a video that has been making the rounds on X.

The development was confirmed by an Ikeja Electric employee who is not authorized to talk.

Folake Soetan, the managing director of Ikeja Electric, did not reply. At the time this report was filed, she had not responded to a text message that was sent to her.

Likewise, attempts to contact Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Air Force, were fruitless.
