The Nigeria Judo Federation (NJF) has announced the emergence of Jude Aifuwa Atoe, Secretary General, aftermath of its just concluded election held in Abuja.
In a statement it issued on the subject matter, the NJF stated that: “the NJF elections have been duly conducted and successfully concluded in accordance with the statutes of the Federation and under the oversight of the relevant regulatory authorities.
“The election process was transparent, inclusive, and followed all constitutional provisions and electoral guidelines. The NJF extends its gratitude to all participants, observers, and stakeholders who contributed to a peaceful and orderly electoral exercise.”
Going further, the NJF affirmed: “It has come to our attention that certain individuals, including a former Secretary-General of the Federation, are attempting to discredit or undermine the legitimacy of the concluded elections through unauthorized communications and actions that are not sanctioned by the Federation.”
The NJF categorically stated that: “The election outcome stands valid and reflects the will of the stakeholders. Any contrary statements or actions made by unauthorized individuals do not represent the position of the NJF.
“Stakeholders are advised to disregard any unofficial publications or claims designed to create confusion or unrest within the judo community.
“The NJF will not tolerate any acts that seek to disrupt the peace, unity, and progress of the Federation and reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary or legal action against any person or group found guilty of such misconduct.”
