    NELFUND Hosts NDPC Delegation on Data Protection, Regulatory Compliance

    The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) on Tuesday hosted a delegation from the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), led by the National Commissioner/Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Vincent Olatunji, on a courtesy visit to the organisation.

    The NDPC team was warmly received by the Managing Director/Chief Executive of NELFUND, Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr.

    The visit served as a strategic engagement aimed at strengthening alignment between both institutions, particularly in the areas of data protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

    Discussions focused on enhancing collaboration frameworks and exploring practical approaches to improving the security, privacy, and integrity of data belonging to NELFUND stakeholders.

    Both organisations also emphasised the importance of ensuring that NELFUND’s operations continue to comply with national data protection laws as well as global best practices.

    NELFUND reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding stakeholder information, strengthening public trust, and maintaining high standards of data governance across all its operations.
