    NELFUND Disburses N58 Million to Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University for 2025/2026 Session

    Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University (JOSTRU) in Makurdi has received a significant NELFUND credit of ₦58,140,490 for the 2025/2026 academic session.

    The funding, disbursed on 30th January 2026, will benefit 690 students, covering tuition and statutory charges. This intervention ensures that more than six hundred students can continue their studies without financial disruption.

    The NELFUND support underscores the ongoing efforts to make tertiary education more accessible and affordable, reinforcing the government’s commitment to supporting students’ academic pursuits.

    University officials have expressed gratitude to NELFUND, emphasizing that the disbursement will help reduce financial barriers and enhance academic engagement for the beneficiaries.
