    National Youth Council Honours Prof’ Kure

    The Provost of the Kaduna State College of Education, (KDSCOE), Gidan Waya, Professor Alexander Kure, was yesterday, Thursday, afternoon in Kaduna honoured with an award of Excellence by the Jema’a Local Government Area (LGA) Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN)

    A statement about the award, a copy of which was made available to Daily Newscraft disclosed that the award ” is in recognition of the seasoned Administrator’s numerous contributions to Youth development through Education”.

    According to the statement, the Award was presented to the Provost in a colourful ceremony which was attended by many friends and well wishers and other invited guest many of whom showered encomiums on “the erudite Scholar”.
    “Brief and well attended, the event afforded invited guests the opportunity to extol the uncommon leadership qualities of Professor Kure, a man whose name is synonymous with Excellence.

    “Present at the Award ceremony were Mrs. Pheobe Sukai, Commissioner, Kafanchan Municipal, representative of the Chair, Jema’a LGA, Council’s Secretary, Principal officers, Mal. Ado Tanko, Pakachin Gwong and Mr. Vasco Maigari, Village Head of Fori, amongst other invited guests.

    “Before Alexander Kure was appointed as the Provost of the state College of Education he had lectured in Kaduna State University and the Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda Zamfara State”, the news release disclosed.
