The Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Agency (NSHCDA) has formally expressed appreciation to the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the successful disbursement of educational funds to students across the state.

In an official letter dated April 27, 2026, the agency praised the initiative introduced under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as a forward-looking programme aimed at expanding access to higher education and strengthening human capital development nationwide.

The agency highlighted that the intervention, implemented through NELFUND, has provided significant financial relief to students and their families by easing the burden of educational expenses. According to the statement, the support has also renewed hope for many young people striving to pursue higher education despite economic challenges.

NSHCDA further commended the management of NELFUND for ensuring the smooth and successful disbursement of funds, noting that the programme will enable beneficiaries to remain focused on their academic goals without undue financial constraints.

The agency emphasized that the initiative aligns with national development priorities and plays a critical role in empowering Nigerian youth through education.

The letter was signed by the Director-General of the agency, Habiba Balarabe Suleiman, who reiterated the state’s commitment to supporting policies that enhance educational access and human capital growth.
