    MTN Foundation Awards Scholarships to 13,717 Nigerians Over 13 Years

    The MTN Foundation has awarded scholarships to 13,717 Nigerians across various categories over the past 13 years, as announced by the foundation’s Director, Mrs. Aishatu Sadauki. The recipients represent all 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

    During the award ceremony and alumni induction held at Mambilla Barracks in Abuja, Mrs. Sadauki emphasized that the provision of scholarships is part of the foundation’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its commitment to building trust within Nigerian communities.

    She highlighted the transformative power of education, stating, “Education remains a powerful tool that shapes the mind, fosters innovation, and drives societal change.” Mrs. Sadauki encouraged the beneficiaries to leverage their scholarships to form meaningful connections and acquire knowledge and skills that lead to self-actualization.

    This initiative reflects MTN Foundation’s ongoing commitment to education and empowerment in Nigeria, reinforcing its role in enhancing educational opportunities for young Nigerians.
