Amidst rising concerns over tantrums being thrown by one presidential Campaign group against another, a Lawyer and public affairs Analyst, Barrister Noble Okhidemeh has charged Political Parties, Presidential Candidates and their supporters to tell Nigerians how they will bring all-round development rather than throwing abusive words at opponents or getting violent.

“Campaign for 2023 general election is here already and I strongly recommend that the campaign should be issue based. The supporters should play the game within the limits of the law”, Okhidemeh told this Reporter in an interview.

The Lawyer cautions that Nigeria and her Citizens are already severely stressed and all hands must be on deck to steer the coming general election towards the success that will alleviate the sufferings being presently experienced.
“The issuance of threats against non supporters of the candidate you are supporting should stop. We should know that there is no one singular person who can claim to be in monopoly of violence. Action from one camp will trigger off reaction from another”, he emphasized.

“If the mentality anyone is taking to the contest is we must win or my candidate must win then such a person must have a rethink”.
