    Lagos residents scoop fuel as tanker overturns at Tincan bridge

    A fuel tanker laden with petroleum motor spirit, popularly known as PMS, has overturned at Tincan Liverpool Bridge, Apapa, Lagos.

    Channels Television posted the video of the incident on Monday morning, showing Nigerians scooping the contents of the tanker from underneath the bridge.

    “Happening now at Tincan Liverpool Bridge, Apapa: A tanker overturned, with people scooping its contents from underneath the bridge,” Channels TV reported.

    According to reports, tanker explosions are a recurring tragedy in Nigeria, despite repeated warnings about the dangers of collecting spilled fuel.
