    Kwarapoly Trains Staff On E-Transcript Processing

    As part of measures to enhance transcript processing efficiency and digitise the operations of the Kwara State Polytechnic towards ensuring improved service delivery, the Management, in conjunction with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), has embarked on Electronic Transcript Ordering and Management System (ETOMS) training for its Records staff.

    The Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed, who paid an unscheduled visit to the training venue, commended the staff for their commitment to acquiring the necessary skills that would enable them to effectively utilise the Electronic Transcript Ordering and Management System.

    The Rector, who emphasised the importance of embracing technology to streamline processes and enhance productivity, assured the staff that the management would continue to invest in capacity-building initiatives to ensure they remain adept in leveraging technology.

    The training covered key aspects of the ETOMS, including transcript ordering, processing, and security features.

    Responding, the Deputy Registrar Records Unit, Mr. Thomas Odeyemi, lauded the Principal Officers for the visit and the institution’s unwavering commitment to staff development.

    He promised that they would use the knowledge acquired to improve their effectiveness and efficiency in the discharge of their duties.

    The Electronic Transcript Ordering and Management System is expected to go live soon, revolutionising transcript processing at Kwara State Polytechnic.

    The Rector also paid an unscheduled visit to the venue of the bagging of the maize harvested from the Polytechnic’s commercial farm, expressing delight at what he met on ground.

    Abdul, who lauded the hard work, dedication and commitment of the committee members which, he noted, has yielded positive result,
    promised to give necessary support to the committee at all times.
