    Kwara Gov commiserates with Katsina over Kankara attacks

    Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has condoled with Governor Dikko Umar Radda and the people of Katsina on the unfortunate terrorist attacks that killed many people, including four policemen, in Kankara Local Government Area of the state.

    The Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, condemned the cowardly attacks on innocent citizens and security operatives, saying the violence was unwarranted and represented the highest level of cruelty and crimes against humanity.

    He said: “We are also alarmed at the audacity with which violent nonstate actors are unleashing violence on security forces, including military personnel, who put their lives on the line to protect citizens.

    “We stand by the government, the security forces, and the good people of Katsina at this trying times. We ask Allaah to forgive the victims and comfort their families. We are confident that the security agencies will haunt down the criminals involved in this crimes against humanity.”
