Kwara State Government has approved the appointment of Mallam Hanafi Olushola Isiaka as the substantive Registrar of the Kwara State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ilorin, while Mr. Agunbiade Teslim was also appointed the substantive Bursar of the College.

This followed the outcome of rigorous interviews and other due processes carried out for all the shortlisted candidates for the two top positions in the College.

The State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Alabi Afees Abolore, broke the news of the approval for both positions during a management meeting Thursday morning.

Dr. Abolore, who disclosed that the two appointees were rated and picked on merit, charged the two newly appointed officers to justify the confidence reposed in them by the state government.

He said: “To whom much is given, much is required. Note that your appointments were based purely on merit and so, you should justify that in the discharge of your duties. I therefore charge you to live up to the expectations of the state government as well as the people of the state by being diligent, transparent in all your official dealings and committed to the arduous duties placed before you.”

The Commissioner reiterated the commitment of the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq towards enhanced service delivery across the various Tertiary Institutions in the State.
