Kwara state Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been described as a man who has contributed immensely to the development of the State in all ramifications.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kwara State Chapter, in a statement jointly signed by the CAN Chairman, Bishop Sunday Timothy Adewole, and Secretary, Apostle Barrister Shina Ibiyemi, stated this while felicitating with the Governor on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary.

Wishing the Governor a year filled with good luck, good health, and much happiness, the Association urged him not to relent in its avowed commitment to turning around the State for good.

CAN particularly commended AbdulRazaq’s doggedness in repositioning the state and payment of counterpart funds in key sectors especially in the areas of health and education from which the State had hugely benefited.

It noted the visionary and courageous steps taken so far to improve and transform governance, advising him not to deviate from such positive steps and actions aimed at changing the fortunes of the State.

CAN charged him not to relent in ensuring peace and religious harmony the State is known for.

The body stressed that it would continue to promote and pray for peaceful coexistence as the Nation goes to poll this month.
